Our 2hr sessions are thoughtfully designed to ignite inspiration and provide a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere (yes, BYOB!)—perfect for birthdays, team building, or just a unique outing with friends.
Our pottery parties concentrate on handbuilding techniques, not wheel throwing. This approach is particularly great for beginners as it allows for immediate success and creativity, making it easier to mold and shape the clay with your own hands. It’s a calming, therapeutic process that everyone can enjoy.
We’ve hosted a wide range of groups, from 4th grade Girl Scouts crafting mugs to 5th graders making pinch pots, and from adult team-building mug exchanges to lively bachelorette and birthday parties. Our studio is experienced in catering to diverse needs, including friend groups, school groups, and more, ensuring each workshop is memorable and fun.

Customize Your Experience
After the fun, choose your glaze color and leave the rest to us. We handle everything from bisque firing to glazing, and a final glaze firing. Your finished pieces will be ready for pickup within 3-4 weeks, carefully wrapped and waiting. We use stoneware clay and mid-fire glazes at Studio Sumi, making your creations both microwave and dishwasher safe.
