🍂 Fall Tweens Clay Camp
Build skills, make cool stuff, have fun with clay!
For Ages 12–15 🧑🎨
Wednesdays from 4:00–5:30 PM
Session 1: September 18th – October 9th
Session 2: October 16th – November 6th

A creative after-school hangout made just for tweens.
If your kid loves making things, needs a low-pressure place to decompress after school, or just wants to try something new (and a little messy), this 4-week clay camp is it.
Each Wednesday, they’ll get their hands in clay and build something totally their own—like a slab-built mug, a coiled vase, or a sculpted trinket tray. We’ll guide them through real pottery techniques, encourage their creative ideas, and give them space to explore their own style.
Perfect for beginners and returning students alike—each session features new projects and skills.
What They’ll Do:
Learn how to pinch, coil, and slab-build like a real ceramic artist
Make functional pieces (hello, handmade mug!) and sculptural ones too
Decorate with texture tools and underglaze
Glaze and fire their pieces to make them food-safe and long-lasting
Work at their own pace and leave with something they're proud of
Taught by our Studio Manager Kat (who tweens love), this small-group class is all about creative freedom, good vibes, and encouraging each student’s unique ideas.
Class Details:
📅 Session 1: September 18th – October 9th from 4-5:30pm
📅 Session 2: October 16th – November 6th from 4-5:30pm
👥 Ages: 12–15
👩🏫 Instructor: Kat, Studio Manager
👯 Class Size: Limited to 8 tweens
🔁 Make-ups: One optional make-up date per session
What’s Included:
✔ All materials (clay, tools, glazes, aprons)
✔ Firing for all finished pieces
✔ Expert instruction and creative support
✔ A warm, relaxed studio space just for tweens
💵 Cost:
$180 per session
Sign up for one or both! Each session includes all materials and kiln firings.
✨ Returning for Session 2?
Awesome! Each session features different projects and techniques, so students who join both will get a fresh experience with new forms, decorating styles, and creative challenges. Whether they’re continuing or just jumping in, they’ll stay inspired and learning the whole way through.
Why Tweens Love It:
Pottery lets them unplug, get creative, and make something real. It’s relaxing but never boring—and by the end of each session, they’ll have handmade pieces to keep, gift, or show off.
