Unwind for the Holidays: A Therapeutic Clay Workshop- Dec. 9th

$59.00

Take a pause this season and gift yourself a little calm. ✨

Upcoming Dates:

  • Tuesday, December 9th from 6:30-8:30pm

The holidays can feel like a blur of to-do lists, gatherings, and go-go-go. This workshop is your chance to step away from the bustle and slow down with clay in hand. In this 2-hour guided handbuilding session, you’ll tap into the meditative rhythm of pottery—where each pinch, roll, and carve helps you release stress and reconnect with yourself.

What to Expect:

  • Guided Handbuilding – No experience needed. Your instructor will walk you through beginner-friendly techniques using slabs, molds, and carving tools.

  • Creative Flow – Design something meaningful at your own pace—whether functional or sculptural. The focus is on process, not perfection.

  • Finishing Touches – We’ll finish your piece with a glossy white glaze that shows off the speckles of our brown clay. Studio Sumi will handle all the firings, and your piece will be ready for pickup in about 3–4 weeks.

Bring your favorite drink (yes, it’s BYOB 🍷☕️) and settle into a cozy, creative space at Studio Sumi. It’s the perfect reset from the holiday hustle—and a chance to create something that’s just for you.
