Build your own Haunted House - Sept. 27th & Oct. 12th, 22nd

$64.00

Build a Little Haunted House for Spooky Season 👻🕯️

Upcoming Dates:

  • Sunday, September 27th from 11am-1:30pm

  • Monday, October 12th from 6:30–9pm

  • Thursday, October 22nd from 6:30–9pm

There’s something especially satisfying about making your own Halloween decorations—particularly when they’re a little wonky, a little spooky, and made entirely by hand.

In this 2.5-hour handbuilding workshop, you’ll create your very own ceramic haunted house designed to glow from within with a tea light. We’ll be working with dark colored clay, giving your house an instantly moody, Halloween-ready look before you even add the ghosts, crooked windows, cobwebs, or whatever strange little details you dream up.

No pottery experience needed. We’ll walk you through the entire process from a slab of clay to your finished spooky little abode.

👻 What You’ll Learn:

🏚️ Build Your House – Use slabs and templates to construct the walls, roof, windows, and architectural details of your haunted house.

✏️ Make It Your Own – Carve crooked doors, tiny ghosts, bats, jack-o'-lantern faces, cobwebs, strange windows, or your own creepy little characters into the clay.

👐 Handbuilding Basics – Learn scoring, slipping, joining, and other foundational clay techniques as you assemble your house.

🕯️ Design for the Glow – Create windows and openings that let candlelight peek through once your piece is finished.

You’ll make one haunted tea light house during the workshop. Of course, if one tiny haunted house suddenly makes you want an entire spooky village, we fully support that decision.

All clay, tools, materials, firing, and finishing are included. After the workshop, we’ll take care of your piece through the drying and firing process. Your finished haunted house will be ready for pickup in approximately 4-5 weeks.

Add a battery-operated tea light at home and watch your little haunted house come to life. 🕯️👻
