Imagine how much more fun your morning routine can be when you’re pouring orange juice into your own handmade mug, tossing your fluffy scrambled eggs in your own handmade bowl, and using your very own handmade spoon to enjoy?!

Let us help you make this a reality! Come design your own breakfast set that includes a coffee mug, cereal bowl, and spoon, all tailored to your style and routine.

In this workshop you’ll:

  • Craft your own cereal bowl using a mold and slab of clay, then decorate it with carving tools to add your personal touch or add clay attachments to make it more you

  • Pinch a custom coffee mug that’s just the right size for your favorite brew or matcha

  • Mold a one-of-a-kind spoon to complete your unique set

During help yourself to our self-serve Coffee and Tea Bar to keep you fueled as you work. Once your pieces are finished we’ll handle both of the kiln firings and glazing. All of your pieces will be hand dipped in glossy white glaze to let the speckles of the clay body shine through. Your set will also of course be completely food safe and will be microwave and dishwasher safe too!

In 4 weeks you will receive an email with all of the pick up instructions for you to start enjoying your breakfast a whole new way!

Before Class

Please arrive about 5 minutes before the workshop begins so you can settle in. We have coat racks for you to place your jacket and belongings.

Age Requirement

This class is 21+ and participants are welcome to BYOB—alcoholic or non-alcoholic. Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate will be provided to keep things cozy.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

To request a cancellation or refund, please email bri@sumiware.com. Please note: All refunds are subject to a $10 processing fee to cover transaction costs.
– Refunds requested more than one week prior to the workshop are fully refundable or you can reschedule to a different class.
No refunds or rescheduling available within 7 days of the start of class.

Sickness & COVID Policy

If you’re feeling unwell, especially with symptoms like fever, sore throat, or cough, please stay home. If you notify us at least 48 hours in advance, we’ll offer a one-time reschedule due to illness.

For COVID-related absences, you must notify us within 24 hours of the class and provide a doctor’s note to qualify for rescheduling. This helps us keep the studio safe and healthy for everyone.
