🎟️ $55 per person | Ages 21+ only (ID required)
We’re teaming up for a fun, elevated pottery night right inside the Urbana Lounge in San Francisco. In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll get 1–2 lbs of clay and learn how to handbuild your own pottery piece from scratch. Choose between making a pinch pot mug or a mini vessel—perfect as a joint holder, incense cup, or stash jar.
No experience needed! We’ll guide you through shaping, decorating, and customizing your piece with fun clay attachments and textures. During the workshop, you'll also get to choose from 5 bright glaze colors to finish your piece.
After the event, your creation will be brought just a few blocks away to Studio Sumi (on Geary between 14th & 15th Ave), where our team will handle the glazing and kiln firing. Your final piece will be microwave-safe, dishwasher-safe, and ready for pickup in about 3–4 weeks.

❗ Cancellation Policy
Tickets are refundable up to 7 days before the event. After that, they are non-refundable due to the time and materials we prepare in advance.
If you can no longer attend, you’re welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend. Just email us at bri@sumiware.com at least 48 hours before the event with their name and contact info so we can update the guest list.
Please note: Cancellations within 48 hours of the event—including due to illness or emergency—are not eligible for a refund, credit, or transfer, as your seat and materials have already been prepared. Thanks so much for understanding and supporting our small studio!
