Pottery pickup

Pieces stay at the studio for drying, glazing and firing. Please allow about 4–5 weeks after the final camp day; we’ll email when they’re ready. Pottery does not go home at the end of camp. Please collect it within one month of the pickup email, or contact us if you need more time.

Cancellations, changes & missed days

Email bri@sumiware.com for cancellation or date-change requests. For your full camp registration, deadlines are measured from the start of the first camp day.

  • More than 7 days before camp: Receive a refund of your registration payment minus a $10 processing fee, or move to another available, age-appropriate session. Any tuition difference will be adjusted.

  • 7 days or fewer before camp: No refunds, credits or date changes, except for the illness exceptions below.

  • If Studio Sumi cancels or reschedules your camp: Choose a full refund or an available transfer, with no processing fee.

Illness: Please keep an unwell child home. With at least 48 hours’ notice before the affected camp day, we offer one illness-related reschedule, subject to availability. For a COVID-related absence, notify us within 24 hours of the class and provide a doctor’s note to qualify for rescheduling. These exceptions do not provide a refund.

Missed individual camp days are not refundable or eligible for credit. Additional makeup opportunities are not guaranteed; we’ll help your child catch up during remaining camp days when possible. The four-day holiday sessions are priced for four days and do not include a fifth makeup day.
