Gather & Graze: Make a Ceramic Hosting Plate 🧀🍷

For cheese nights, dinners with friends, holiday gatherings, and the evenings that somehow end with everyone standing around the kitchen eating “just one more thing.”
In this 2.5-hour handbuilding workshop, you’ll make your own ceramic serving piece designed for gathering, something to fill with cheese and crackers, olives, fruit, appetizers, desserts, or whatever ends up on the table when people come over.
Make it simple and classic, colorful and playful, or completely unexpected. It’s yours.
Each guest will receive one slab of clay with enough to make 1 generously sized serving platter up to approximately 13" × 10" — or divide your clay and make 2 smaller plates instead. Finished sizes will vary slightly since every piece is handmade and clay naturally shrinks during firing.
We’ll guide you through the entire process, so no pottery experience is needed. You’ll learn how to slab-build your piece, shape and refine the edges, and add details that make it feel completely your own.
You’ll also have colorful underglazes available to add illustrations, patterns, borders, or small decorative details before choosing a glaze for the finished piece.

🧀 Choose your format — make 1 larger serving platter or 2 smaller plates
〰️ Make it your own with organic edges, sections, sculptural details, or a clean, classic shape
🎨 Add a little color with underglaze illustrations, patterns, borders, and decorative details
🍷 Make something you’ll actually use for wine nights, dinner parties, girls’ nights, family gatherings, holidays — or a really good snack at home
🥂 BYOB — bring a bottle of wine, bubbly, or whatever you’d like to sip while you make
🔥 We’ll finish the rest — after class, our team will glaze and fire your piece and have it ready for pickup in approximately 4–5 weeks
Come with a friend, make it a night out, or come on your own and spend the evening doing something creative.
