Espresso Cups ☕ & Good Mornings 🔆
There’s something special about that first sip of espresso—the quiet moment before the day begins, your favorite coffee spot, the little ritual that helps you slow down. In this beginner-friendly pottery workshop, you’ll create a pair of handmade espresso cups designed to make that daily ritual even better.
Upcoming Dates:
Over the course of 2.5 hours, you'll learn approachable slab-building techniques as you transform a simple slab of clay into two custom 2–3 oz espresso cups. Whether you're a daily espresso drinker, an iced cortado fan, or just love collecting beautiful ceramics, this workshop is all about creating pieces you'll reach for again and again.
What You'll Do
☕ Build Two Handmade Espresso Cups
Learn beginner-friendly handbuilding techniques to shape and assemble two espresso cups from clay. No experience needed—we'll guide you through every step.
✨ Add Your Personal Style
Customize your cups with handles, stamps, texture tools, carving, and decorative details. Whether your style is clean and minimal or playful and colorful, you'll have plenty of ways to make them your own.
🎨 Choose Your Glaze
Once your cups are complete, you'll select your glaze color from a curated selection of finishes. Our team will handle all glazing and kiln firing, so your pieces are beautifully finished and food-safe.
Included
All clay, tools, materials, and aprons
Step-by-step instruction
Two handmade espresso cups to keep
Self-serve coffee and tea bar
BYOB welcome
A Slow Morning, Made by You
This workshop is equal parts creative experience and coffee lover's dream. Come solo, bring a friend, or make it a unique date. You'll leave with two handmade cups, new pottery skills, and the satisfaction of knowing your future espresso ritual will be served in something you made yourself.
Your finished cups will go through a multi-step drying, glazing, and kiln-firing process after the workshop. Because each piece is handmade, this process takes approximately 4–5 weeks to complete. Once your cups are finished and ready, you'll receive an email with pickup instructions so you can come collect your handmade creations from the studio.
