Let’s get festive! Studio Sumi is turning up the holiday cheer with our cozy, sparkling ornament workshop. Join us for a 2.5 hour handbuilding session where you’ll sip champagne (or sparkling cider) and craft a collection of one-of-a-kind ceramic ornaments—perfect for decorating your tree, gifting to loved ones, or keeping as keepsakes for years to come.

What to Expect:
🍾 Cheers to the Season – Kick things off with a complimentary glass of bubbly (or cider) and settle into a creative, holiday-ready mood.
👐 Hands-On Making – Shape 3–5 ornaments using handbuilding tools and cookie cutters. Go classic and simple, or try out more sculptural 3D designs—it’s up to you!
🎨 Color & Carve – After building, you’ll decorate your pieces with colorful underglazes and carving techniques to add patterns, textures, and personal flair.
🎁 Ready for the Holidays – We’ll handle the firing process so your creations are finished, glossy, and ready for pick-up in about 2 weeks—just in time for the season.

No clay experience? No problem! This workshop is guided step-by-step and designed to be equal parts fun and festive.

Before Class

Please arrive about 5 minutes before the workshop begins so you can settle in. We have coat racks for you to place your jacket and belongings.

Age Requirement

This class is 21+ and participants are welcome to BYOB—alcoholic or non-alcoholic. Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate will be provided to keep things cozy.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

To request a cancellation or refund, please email bri@sumiware.com. Please note: All refunds are subject to a $10 processing fee to cover transaction costs.
– Refunds requested more than one week prior to the workshop are fully refundable or you can reschedule to a different class.
– No refunds or rescheduling available within 7 days of the start of class.

Sickness & COVID Policy

If you’re feeling unwell, especially with symptoms like fever, sore throat, or cough, please stay home. If you notify us at least 48 hours in advance, we’ll offer a one-time reschedule due to illness.

For COVID-related absences, you must notify us within 24 hours of the class and provide a doctor’s note to qualify for rescheduling. This helps us keep the studio safe and healthy for everyone.
