Sunday Clay Play- July 19th & Aug 30th

$64.00

✨ Sunday Clay Play

Two hours of clay, creativity, and seeing where your ideas take you.

Upcoming Dates:

  • Sunday, July 19th from 11am-1pm

  • Sunday, August 30th from 11am-1pm

Sometimes the best pieces happen when you stop trying to make something perfect.

Sunday Clay Play is our most open-ended workshop—a chance to spend a couple of hours exploring clay, following your curiosity, and making whatever sounds fun that day. Maybe you come in wanting to create a mug, a planter, a wall hanging, a trinket dish, or a weird little sculpture that makes absolutely no sense (we love those too 😄). All of those are welcome here.

This workshop is designed for both complete beginners and returning clay lovers. We'll guide you through foundational handbuilding techniques, show you how to use our collection of tools, textures, molds, and templates, and help bring your ideas to life along the way.

Think of it as a creative playground: a place to test ideas, try something new, get your hands dirty, and enjoy the process without worrying about doing it "right."

  • Learn beginner-friendly handbuilding techniques

  • Explore tools, stamps, textures, molds, and templates

  • Create one or more small projects of your choosing

  • Get guidance and support while still having creative freedom

🌿 Perfect For

  • Anyone who has been wanting to try clay without committing to a multi-week class

  • Creative people looking for a fun weekend activity

  • Friends, couples, or solo makers

  • Returning students who want time to experiment with new ideas

What's Included

  • Clay, tools, materials, and aprons

  • Instruction and creative guidance

  • Firing and glazing of your finished pieces

🔥 The Finishing Touch

After class, we'll glaze your work in one of our studio glazes and handle all the firing for you. Your finished pieces will be ready for pickup in about 4 weeks, and we'll send you an email as soon as they're ready.

Come with an idea—or no idea at all. Some of the most fun pieces start with a lump of clay and a little curiosity ✨
