FAQs
💬 Do I need any experience with stained glass?
Not at all! This workshop is designed for beginners. Hal of Stained Glass Mommy will walk you through everything step by step—no glass skills or tools required.
🔪 Will I be cutting glass?
Nope! All the glass pieces are pre-cut just for you, so you can jump right into the fun of foiling and soldering without worrying about sharp edges or precision cuts.
🍑 What will I be making?
A fabulous booty-shaped stained glass suncatcher. You’ll choose your colors and finish it yourself using the copper foil method.
🧤 Is it safe?
Yes! We’ll go over safety tips at the start of class. All tools and materials are provided, and safety gear will be available. Just be sure to wear closed-toe shoes (no sandals or slides, please).
🕒 How long is the workshop?
The class runs 2.5 hours. Please arrive on time so you don’t miss important instructions (and so you have enough time to give your glass booty the attention it deserves).
💦 Should I bring anything?
Just a water bottle, comfy clothes you don’t mind getting a little artsy in, and a sense of humor. We’ll provide all materials and tools!
🧒 Can kids join?
This class is geared toward adults and older teens (15+) due to the tools and materials involved. For family-friendly options, check out our other workshops!
Cancellation Policy:
Due to the prep involved (think: custom pre-cut glass for each booty), we’re unable to offer refunds or transfers for cancellations made less than 7 days before the workshop. If you need to cancel more than 7 days in advance, we’re happy to offer a full refund or transfer your spot to a future stained glass class (based on availability). Please note: All refunds are subject to a $10 processing fee to cover transaction costs.
We get that life happens, so feel free to gift your ticket to a friend if you can’t make it last minute—just shoot us a quick email to let us know who’ll be taking your place.
Thanks for understanding and supporting small-batch, hands-on workshops!
