In this 2.5-hour handbuilding workshop, youâll sculpt your very own ceramic wine gobletâwhether youâre going for medieval chalice, modern stemless, or something totally whimsical.
And yesâthe wine will be flowing. đˇ Fuel your creativity with a glass (or two) as you design, sculpt, and decorate a goblet made completely by hand.

đ Pinching & coiling basics (youâll use these to shape your goblet)
đ How to balance form and function (yes, your goblet can be sculptural and sippable)
đ¨ Surface design using colorful glazesâpaint, carve, and personalize

Before Class
Please arrive about 5 minutes before the workshop begins so you can settle in.
Age Requirement
This workshop is designed for adults, but participants ages 16+ are welcome with a participating guardian. If you have any questions about age requirements please email bri@sumiware.com.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
To request a cancellation or refund, please email bri@sumiware.com. Please note: All refunds are subject to a $10 processing fee to cover transaction costs.
â Refunds requested more than one week prior to the workshop are fully refundable or you can reschedule to a different class.
â Refunds requested within one week of the workshop are 50% refundable.
â Rescheduling is available within 5 days of the start of class.
â No refunds are given within 24 hours of the start of class.

Sickness & COVID Policy
If youâre feeling unwell, especially with symptoms like fever, sore throat, or cough, please stay home. If you notify us at least 48 hours in advance, weâll offer a one-time reschedule due to illness.
For COVID-related absences, you must notify us within 24 hours of the class and provide a doctorâs note to qualify for rescheduling. This helps us keep the studio safe and healthy for everyone.
